Restorative practices ask your body to get stronger while nurturing it at the same time. In this video, I show you how I use my herd of horses to build and strengthen my body, while also nurturing, protecting, and down-regulating my nervous system. I also give you some ideas for how to take this concept into your own life and apply it to strengthen your own body within your personal Healing Journey.
Restorative Practices
Remember that restorative practices are those which don’t push you too hard, but rather allow you to strengthen your body while also allowing your body to rest – as healing takes A LOT of your energy on its own! We want to encourage our bodies to get stronger, but while healing it is important not to push yourself too hard as this can be detrimental to your healing process.
Where in your life can you add in a bit more restorative health for yourself?
