If you are currently following the Minimize Gas & Bloating Diet, or the Maintenance Diet from my book, Listen To Your Gut, you’ll LOVE this baked salmon recipe! It’s also compatible with the Reduce Diarrhea Diet.
This salmon is melt-in-your-mouth soft, flakey – and ready in JUST 10 minutes!! It’s a super easy weeknight meal idea, or whenever you need a quick, healthy shot of protein-omega3 goodness.
This recipe calls for two wild salmon fillets, however you can make as many fillets as you need if you plan on feeding more than two people.
BAKED SALMON RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 2 Wild Salmon Fillets
- Juice of 1/4 Fresh Lemon
- 1/2 tsp Dried Cilantro (or 1.5 tbsp Fresh)
- 1/2 tsp Dried Basil
- 1/4 cup Lychee Juice or Apple Juice
- 1 tsp of Butter or Ghee or Olive Oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Place salmon in casserole dish, squeeze lemon and sprinkle herbs on top
- Pour juice around the sides of the fish and place 1/2 tsp of butter, ghee, or olive oil on top of each fillet.
- Put lid on casserole dish and bake in oven until cooked (about 10 mins)
- Serve with your choice of rice or potatoes, gluten-free pasta, sprouted quinoa, asparagus, squash, zucchini, green peas, carrots, etc.
